Introduction

The formatting of a Research Project generally follows a structured framework to ensure clarity and professionalism. Below is a standard guideline for formatting: 

1. Title Page

  • Title of the Project (Clear, concise, and reflective of the content)
  • Name of the Researcher (with designation, if applicable)
  • Institution Name
  • Date of Submission
  • Optional: Supervisor’s name, Department, Logo, or any funding organization details. 

2. Declaration and Certificate (Optional)

Ø Declaration: A statement by the researcher affirming the originality of the work.

Ø Certificate: Issued by the supervisor or institution, certifying that the project meets academic or professional standards. 

3. Acknowledgements

  • Brief recognition of individuals or organizations who supported the project.

4. Abstract

  • A concise summary of the research (150–300 words), covering the:
    • Purpose of the research
    • Methods used
    • Key findings
    • Conclusions

5. Table of Contents

  • Lists all sections, sub-sections, and appendices with page numbers.

6. List of Tables, Figures, and Abbreviations (if applicable)

  • Separate lists for:
    • Tables
    • Graphs or figures
    • Acronyms and abbreviations used

7. Main Body

This section includes the core content of the research project:
